Anyone know what this is?

Anyone know what this is, was just checking around the engine bay and noticed it lying loose by the heater air intake on the Left hand side?

Doesn’t look important.... 90 - Gone but not forgotten

My best guess is that it is a locking release from a fire extinguisher but it looks my best guess was wrong looking at the next post Embarassed For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
