Thank you for the welcome, it is listed on the Oz tent website, considerably lighter and packs up smaller than the traditional Oz tent

Try talking to Brendan at 4x4 overlander. He deals with OZ kit
https://www.4x4overlander.com/ And push him on a deal. He loves it. |

Thanks Bear , I have a 90 and don’t have a roof rack, so a traditional Oz tent does not really work as they are so long!

I will tell you for nothing, an RV5 in a 110 only just works
I have seen a few bits and pieces on the Aussie site that I think, I wish they would bring that to the UK? I don't suppose there is the market in the UK? |

We have an OzTent RV2 plus annex. We carry it on two Thule roof bars on a 110 and it doesn't use all the roof length afforded by the LWB. Happy to share more details.

I, too, have carried an Oztent on roof bars for thousands of miles without issue. Here's my RV4 on our old D2 a few years ago:
Click image to enlarge The only slight snag is securing the tent to the bars. Because it's so high up, you really need to be up there with it to wrap ratchet straps or bungees around the bundle.. My solution to that was a couple of 'L' shaped box section brackets bolted to the roof bars with cam buckle straps threaded through them. That meant that the tent could be thrown up without it skittering across the roof and the straps were easily accessible: Click image to enlarge Ultimately though, I bought a box to store it in, which still mounts onto roof rails: Click image to enlarge This particular box isn't available anymore but as an alternative I'd consider a long ski box. It would be reasonably secure and make stowing the tent much easier. The one downside of an Oztent is they're heavy, which is worth considering when putting it on the roof. Hi, thank you for the details and photos, it looks as though it would work on the 90, my only concern is the weight, hence I was trying to find an oxley lite in the UK but that seems be a no go. Thanks again
