I fitted an LRI set to the rear of my 90 last year. It wasn't brilliant. The carpet sections differed in colour and the fit was poor. However, I dropped them a line and they were very helpful in sending out a new floor section which was both much darker (almost black) and better quality. Like you, I was keen to get a darker finish and struggled to find that.
This is the original LRI carpet set. Click image to enlarge These ones are my home made set which I decided to lay over the LRI set to cover it up... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I got my front and rear sets from LRI. They needed a bit of fettling, but the carpets seem good quality and the overall fit was pretty good too. Not the cheapest, but I have bought a few bits from LRI and they seem very good to deal with.

I went with the LRI set in the end. I was quite disappointed, they were much thinner than the Exmoor set I’ve got in the back and required an incredible about of trimming, even the holes for the seats didn’t line up.
Not impressed so I’ll stick to Exmoor next time. Instagram.com/mattbuckley19 |
