You may find that the only things you need to change are the receiver in the roof (cheap enough second hand, extortionate new) and the electronics in the fobs. I can't see that anything else would be affected. |

Now the website is back up I went looking for a few bits, already mentioned the cost of 315mhz keys so didn't bother with them.
I found some small parts including some not so easy to locate bits so put a small order together that came to £44 ex VAT before delivery. Along the way I got a message saying if I registered for their newsletter I could get 15% discount on my first order so did & subsequently got sent the code to use at checkout. Now when I was at school 15% of £44 was £6.60, however the discount that was applied at the checkout was £0.22... how the hell did they calculate that, that's 0.5%... Needless to say I'm not impressed by the robbing & have scrapped the order! to them! |

Yep, those are the bits that need changing & then the keys need coding to the car. Was just looking to avoid the need to buy a receiver & the transmitters by getting hold of a 315mhz key complete & getting a blank blade to have cut to match the key itself. |

Not got my refund yet! I see Wolf's are discounted so thought I'd get a set anyway and what do I find - they want £53 for delivery (was free last week on orders over £100 iirc) and the 15% discount code on new Newsletter subscribers doesn't work

I ordered a pair of mudflaps and 4xwheels after the webshop came back online.
I have just received the same email saying that stock issues means my order cannot be fulfilled. Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

They seem to treat customers in very much the same way as the rest of JLR! With contempt and disdain!
Shockingly incompetent, and I hope someone's head rolls for this (bet it doesn't, through). |

It’s bonkers. You would think at a time like this retailers would want and need to be able to sell their products and make money. Quite literally JLR seem incapable of selling anything to a customer. Dave

I can't help thinking they are staring down the barrel. They can't export product - the pictures of RRs and similar stacked up at the docks were in the press yesterday. They aren't selling product obviously because no one is going into the showrooms. The existing product range has too many reliability issues for comfort, and there is every chance as soon as lockdown is over that a slew of vehicles will be returned to dealers as people can't afford their PCP deals anymore.
Those challenges aren't unique to JLR, but JLR does seem ill equipped to deal with them individually let alone collectively. The new Defender even if it hits the upper estimates of sales forecasts post lockdown isn't going to make a dent in the performance of the company. It will be interesting to see how long TATA puts up with it, but that I suspect will be linked to finding another mug punter to take it off their hands. |

I ordered 5 x Wolf wheels on Friday after the site had come back online so hoped they had got it all sorted.
I got an email yesterday afternoon cancelling my order due to “parts availability” which is very annoying as they were still showing as in stock yesterday! I’ve sent them a shirty email back but haven’t heard anything from them! I see the whole clearance section has been removed now. What an absolute farce. |
