Green laning in Wales.
I've finally stuck a video together of a post boxing day trip few of us took, up Allt Y Badi and the V gulley. I hadn't driven either for a couple of years or more.

The lanes looked a bit wet and slippery there but those magic stones sure did the trick Laughing

Laughing No worries mate, glad you enjoyed it.

LandRoverAnorak, in fairness to Steve in the blue 90, it's a lot steeper and rougher than it looks in the vid. I went back up a couple of weeks after this video as my youngest lad wanted to have a look. He was surprised how rough it actually was. Having said that, Steve does sometimes forget the CDL. Laughing

I enjoyed the video.
I see some fairly deep cuttings along the track,....was the track originally constructed for any particular purpose?

I'm not sure tbh. I did see an article on line a few years back that gave some history to it. It also said that during WW2, the army used to take tanks up there which damaged the bedrock. I haven't been able to find the article since though. 🙁
