What JLR is up against
Here is what JLR has to compete with......... for those not in the know Giga-factory 3 IIRC is the new factory opening next January in Berlin to provide cars and trucks for the European markets. UK of course felt we didn’t need to have such a factory here because we don’t want to be part of the EU........... look at the product ramp up in the first 3cmonths of this year - nobody what’s an electric car in JLR’s view.........

Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

My understanding is that Tesla modelled their reliability on JLR Rolling with laughter I personally don't see Tesla as a threat to the likes of Ford, Toyota and Kia et al. Defender 90XS SW

Personally I really admire the bloke. And the cars.

My dream garage is to keep the 110 but add a model S performance.
The Tesla battery performance and self driving technology is steaks ahead of the others. Even if Tesla don't eventually shift as many units when the big boys get really in on the act, i think there will be a lot of technology bought and made under licence to keep Tesla in the game.

You need people like him to shake things up a bit. No-one though he'd stand a chance, but here he is, building cars, batteries, roof tiles and spaceships. He's a rare individual for sure. Thumbs Up
