I think you might regret selling it. That’s probably one of the most desirable Land Rover models and it looks to be in great condition. Good luck with the sale, I have a late td5 110 station wagon, to me its priceless. In my opinion its far better To drive than the puma models and it has bags more character. 2006 TD5110 station wagon

Thank you, and yes I’m sure I probably will!
I’m in no rush to sell as I don’t really know it’s true worth. I paid more for it 3 years ago from a dealer, completely standard. 🤷🏻♂️ But they don’t seem to be selling as well now! |

I hope it doesn’t sell. So in 5 years time you look at it on the drive and think thank god I didn’t get rid of it.

Not what I would have liked for it, but I wanted a quick sale as if it had dragged out I wouldn’t have been able to do it.
I’ll PM you as to not distract from the thread. |

A dear old lady who's husband passed late last year had a Cairns Blue XS on an 06 plate with 64k on the clock. Her husband owned it from new, fully serviced, waxoyled from new and was in very good condition.
I went to see it and it had a Red Booster clutch thing and I thought the clutch had a judder so might need replacing along with 2 swivels, new screen rubber and some other small jobs doing and offered her £12500 thinking £2500 to put it back to what it should be and she said a trader had offered her £20000 to drop his offer to £15000 - he turned up and said it needed a clutch and other bits and offered her £12500 and she effing took it! He will probably just sell it on and make a profit but it suggests the market is falling ![]() "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. I guarantee that at 64 k that clutch judder was a simple sticking calliper or handbrake ...... Have fun be happy

Tompoole, it was deffo the clutch as the car rolled freely and had just been serviced. It did have a Red Booster Air Servo fitted and he was an oldish chap that owned it.
Part of the problem with the Red Booster system (the early one's) was that if you just so much as touched the clutch pedal the system started to dis-engage the clutch causing it to spin and wear out more. Even the stealer that took it said he thought the clutch was slipping which is why she dropped her price - problem was I was not there to counter offer or negotiate and he was so she sold it to him ![]() ![]() ![]() "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. Know the feeling... I was looking at selling the Bowler 90 65 plate 4240 miles... It's an interesting truck... Being a half way house between the fast road Defender and the Rally truck... (Best of both worlds in my humble opinion).... Spoke to loads of dealers who said the price was in free fall, So they wouldn't offer anything as the price might be less next week!!!... So it's just sat on the drive under a cover.... Our 110 Bowler isn't getting used these days either... But again, No chance of shifting that... So Stuck with them both...
Good luck with the sale, But you may have to very flexible with pricing as the market is very weak and with the current state of affairs. I can unfortunately only see it getting worse... Probably best to keep it... Regards Tim It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse... 2013 Bowler 110 (Sold) 2016 Bowler 90 Rally Spec (Sold) |
