Thank you it definitely looks better next job is to sort the badge out and re paint the rear crossmember I’ve sanded it back to bare shiny metal today it looked like it had been painted with tar for what reason I’m unsure as it is corrosion free Thumbs Up cheers Paul Tash n Barney

Hi today I’ve been back down the paddock and cleared a bit more of the wood from the fallen tree, got it back home and have now ringed and split it and stacked it in one of my log stores, keep safe everyone Thumbs Up Paul

Hi today I’ve replaced the broken speedo cable as the old one had snapped a couple of weeks ago, checked all the oils including the swivels, took the front wheels off and hubs to brush out any brake dust put the hubs and wheels back on and adjusted the brakes, also changed the front sidelight lenses for clear ones with orange bulbs in my opinion I think it looks nicer with these fitted then took it for a run pleased to say the speedo is now working and the brakes are pulling up nicely, Thumbs Up cheers Paul

Don't forget (as we discussed earlier) that you cannot have yellow/amber sidelights, you must use clear lenses and bulbs in the front to be legal. As the indicators are in the front sidelights, they too must be clear - you are allowed to do this on account of the age of the vehicle (pre-1965).

Clear sidelights and clear indicators = OK
Clear sidelights and amber indicators = OK (but you'd need an additional light in the wing)
Amber sidelights and amber indicators = not OK.
