injection harness original equipment or land rover
quick question

Land Rover part or Original Equipment for an injection harness ? Sort of biased towards the LR one but thought I'd just ask given LR = 2 * OE

I use OE and save the money. I also change it every two or three years and consider it a service item. Thumbs Up 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

LR.

Id always keep a spare one. Second theres a drop of oil in the red plug swap it again. Changed mine 3 years ago now and not a drop in the plug. Change the rocker gasket at the same time Elring do decent ones. Instagram @defender_ventures

Repaired my original more than 8 years ago, and no problems. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "BlufĂnek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo Smile

Everyone repeatedly changing theirs: I thought once you put in an updated loom then it fixed the problem and you didn't need to worry about it again? Insta: @thebenjordan4x4

Put an OE in in 2009 still no oil in the plugs.
However I filled the top side off the connector and I only drove 40.000 M since.

And maybe my ECU is placed on the bulkhead between the seats That could help too. Roel

Roel

Did you add sealant to cover the 4 holes in the top of the plug that joins to the main loom?

AMR6103 is the part number 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yes I took the cover off and squeezed it as much as possible full with silicon blue headgasket sealant. Straight when it was new. Cleaned the internals first with brake cleaner to get any existing grease out and give the sealant a fighting chanche to get a good sealant. Roel
