Led driving lights flashing when using battery optimiser
Had a weird one last night, the dogs started kicking off about 1am so I went to check out what the commotion was.
Led lights on the bumper were coming on for a few seconds, then off maybe 30 seconds.
Earlier in the evening I’d hooked my Optimate up to the battery with everything still connected up (because it said you can do that in the charger manual, hope that’s right).
Out of interest, the Optimate showed red (low) for the battery indicator as had been stood for couple of weeks. Thinking maybe it had reached a level where it started pulsing charging or something similar.
Interested to hear any thoughts.
Hope you’re all keeping OK,
Matt

My DRL's were the same and as I have fitted a voltage sensitive relay to power the dash cam and some other kit all sorts were coming on and off when connected to the charger. I fitted an isolation switch in the end so when the charger is on the accessories are cut off. 2010 XS USW
