I've seen a couple of them out in the wild, you don't "clock" them until they are right in front of you, the old type you spotted miles away. The new one somehow reminds me of Kermit the frog for some reason, really not a good looking car imho. 2011 110 USW

From the pre-launch blurb and the James Bond clips, I had thought that at least it was a good looking car.

It isn't.

They have taken a curvy, bulbous 'Disco-style front end and tied it to a boxy straight-edged back end in order to try and 'give a nod' to the styling of a real Defender. The result is, IMO, a bit ugly. It seems to be having a bit of an identity crisis.

It wouldn't have surprised me to see the name Shogun on the back. It'll just blend in with all the other generic 4x4's out there whereas the real Defender can be spotted from a mile away.
