Hi Martin, the response is password protected. I don't really want to register with Disco 3.
With regards to andydef90, your extended warranty (if it is an official Land Rover one) is not administered by JLR. Best to check in with the company that deals with your warranty (LR or otherwise) as they will be the one's forking the money out in the first instance. Can't be sure, but most insurance companies are still operating. I think it would be a very poor show (in the depths of Mike Ashley, Tim Martins, half of the British Construction industry etc.) if they didn't honour your warranty. After all, it's not something you have control over, although we all know those insurance companies do like their small print. |

Fair point. Basically it's a report of LR giving two months' grace. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Inchcape, where I got mine from appear to have shut up shop completely whereas it seems as if Duckworths are still open in some form or another. They can’t expect you to drive 150 miles to find an open garage in this kind of a lockdown?
Are LR warranties not picking up the phone? |

Good Morning, Thank you for your post. Your question is a very valid and topical one, and I can confirm that JLR have extended the servicing parameters by 2 months / 2000 miles (3200 kms) to allow both customers and retailers a grace period to service vehicles, until we can return to normal working practices. This will not affect customer’s manufacturers warranty (subject to the usual warranty restrictions). JLR will continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates if the situation evolves. However, this does NOT apply to any extended warranty policies taken out against your vehicle. It is advised that you contact Car Care Plan or your extended warranty provider, to discuss this as the policy is not administered by Jaguar Land Rover. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Many Thanks Dan - Land Rover UK |
