Why S3? Looks like an early 110?

Definitely not a Series 3 (and if it was it'd be a 109 not a 110).
I reckon properly at that age it is a "One-Ten". Tidy, though, it must be said. An appreciating classic. |

Yes a One Ten in Trident Green, split doors with the nice Aluminium door tops, looks a very tidy thing although I’m not a fan of the wheels and tyres. Getting quite a rare thing in good condition especially if it has the petrol engine.

Nice early 110 still earning its keep 😎 probably got a Tdi under the bonnet now though if it's used regularly.

Tim, whereabouts are you as I think it overtook me a couple of wks back on the A96 nr Huntly heading towards Elgin. Was tidy and quickly backed off when he realised why I was going slowly when he caught up with a Bear gritters spreading his load of rot !!!

A) it sounded like a V8 when it pulled out of our road end.
B) HTB2, I’m west of Stirling Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Good to hear, sounds like it may have retained its original engine then, at least in keeping with its age
