I really like the look of these as well. Especially as I embarrassingly have to admit I don’t go off road. There I’ve said it “i’m Out now “ Embarassed so no articulation issues.

So i’m nterested in a set if they go into production.

There was a mention earlier on wing stays and their weak point connection to the outer wing. I notice YRM metal solutions have a fix for this. “Defender 110 Mudflap & wing stay reinforcing bracket on outer skin of tub.” Part number 310. Also wing stays for 110 part number 215. These parts are aluminium. I think they do versions for the 90 as well.

So these could assist in supporting the arch liners if the existing rear wing stays and connection to wing/tub was thought insufficient.

It's just a piece of aluminium you can find in any diy store. Drill two holes or three if you like, done in 10 minutes. 15 minutes if you put some EPDM or other sealant on the back to avoid dirt getting behind it Thumbs Up

Best "Home-Made" Job I've seen. Would be interested if available as a set. My TD4 is currently in Namibia, and these would help to reduce the damage done by the gravel roads.

Any chance you could post the measurements (unless you're going to make them commercially, of course).

Only thing that might be worth a mention is using Duralac or similar to insulate stainless/steel/aluminium joints from bimetallic corrosion, as it gets pretty wet and salty under there. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Thanks guys, I had them off the other day and everything looked fine under the tub. Had a proper clean under there and behind the pitiful original plastic flaps covering the rear lights. So I can see how much crap gets behind there from now but there didn’t seem like that much got round there.
I’m still pretty chuffed with them.
Here's the dimensions of the fuel filter side, just need to cut the corner out for the exhaust on the other.
I can’t be bothered to put them into production, open source!

it should be possible to make a mold of the wheel arch area with suitable anchoring points then have inserts made of blown one piece plastic.
