1993 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Barolo Black

300 TDI Blower Issues

I was driving along yesterday and all of a sudden the heater blower burst into life unannounced. The lever to control it doesnt seem to do anything and the only way to stop it from blowing on full power is to either whack the dash or drive over a large bump.

Any thoughts as to what's happened and how to fix?
