Osram map light
Hi guys, I found a handy LED bendy map light to fit the landy.
When we’re out as a family the mrs usually has kids lunch boxes down by her feet in the footwell.
In the winter the landy is lacking some creature comforts so I was looking for a discreet light.

That's a really neat fit.
Does it give out a decent light?

Just fitted an Avanti map light as used in the 60's/70's to my SAAB that I am restoring. 18" long running under the glove box, fitted onto the replica SAAB rally map pocket, so it stretches, once unclipped, over your lap... however the likes of Stig Blomqvist in the day had the light over the door aperture so the light was directed more from behind onto the map. Took me a while to hunt one down as they don,t make the Iris End type anymore ( they can't find anyone to make the iris lens part apparently) but you can still buy the hood type so that less light interferes with the driver.
