2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 HT Fuji White
Yellow engine and traction control lights
My 2.2 2014 110 van has decided to illuminate both these lights today. There was a lack of power too.

I stopped, switched off and back on again a couple of times and they then both went out and it drove mormally again.

Any clues as to what to check would be much appreciated.

Thanks folks.

If it helps, I've just checked on my cheapo diagnostic tool and I've got fault code P2122, which is the throttle position sensor voltage low (there's post about this already but that chap had a cruise control fault... I don't have that!)

In that other case I would guess that the 3rd party cruise system (which emulates a pedal) caused the throttle pedal fault.

It might be an early sign of a pedal sensor failing, but check the wiring at the pedal for cuts/damage.

If it reoccurs swap out the pedal to an known good one (all Puma pedals are the same for 2.4, 2.2 and DSC 2.2).  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks Martin. I'll have a good look at that. Possibly a squirt of something WD40ish (Bilt Hamber's Ferrosol) might help.

It's actually in for its MoT and service tomorrow anyway, so I'll mention it to them.
