Stood in the freezing wind fumbling under the bonnet to get at the clutch linkage to lube it and get rid of the dreaded clutch squeak (again).

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is still possible/allowed to drive the Old Coach Road at Matterdale in the Lakes? I fancy a trip up there in the spring so looking for nice, non damaging drives to go on. Cheers. |

Hi Chris,
It still shows as open on Trialwise2, and the last person to report driving it was on 26/01/20, with no problems. I fancy doing it myself, and a few others up there, that I’ve found on TW2. Have fun, and share some pictures, Cheers Ashbyandy |

Cheers Andy,
I will take a look. I fancy going over the various passes and having a general lazy day driving around 😊 I’ll post when I have got my **** in gear (excuse the pun). Cheers |

Went to Ruthin, North Wales for a weekend of combined motorsport training comprising of Rescue, Recovery, Marshals, timing, fire training, FoS.
Storm Dennis dropped a lot of water and some of the roads under water. Got asked to go collect a marshal who couldn't get to site. First road I tried was more of a river with fences, that one was not for me. Found another route in which meant going through water to get there. Observed a couple of Discos come through first and decided it was OK. An abandoned Fiesta in the next puddle stuck up to its number plate and no peoples inside. Then a return trip through the same water. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

This looks nice, both from a bumper & winch perspective, just not sure on the weight penalty: Click image to enlarge I B E X (@IbexVehicles) Tweeted: Thursday’s mood https://t.co/APfuESUVpY https://twitter.com/IbexVehicles/status/1230403750042513408?s=20 |
