On a more fundamental level I don't understand how boxing still exists as a 'sport' in this century. JB

I love the fact that a man who thinks he should be the world’s heavyweight champ, got tired by wearing an 18kg costume.
Silly boy. |

Boxing is a strange sport indeed, though maybe Tyson fighting one of these two fat ladies might be a thing to watch.
For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

Yes. He has his demons and seems to have controlled his life. He comes over quite well in interviews.
I still don't like boxing (or MMA), but if he makes a shed load of money, who am I to argue? |

The Furys are rather down to earth people, Paris has relatives in Edinburgh they owned an antique shop lovely people her uncle and aunt, lovely people too.
Tyson has put the brake on with his talk offending everyone! Now people are starting to see the good in him. Tyson and his dad are fascinating characters. If wilder had any sense he would have gotten carried to the ring like Fury |

I'm guessing JLR won't be making him a brand ambassador any time soon? Maybe INEOS will consider it? |

I have to agree. I know it might be very unmanly of me but I can't watch/support a sport that's whole intent is to cause physical(brain) damage on each other. Seems wrong in this world where we've banned (quite rightly) dog and cock fighting. Scotland banning under 9's from heading a football unyet we allow boxing? Pro boxing is done by adults who I'm sure are more than capable of deciding what they want to do with their own bodies.
What next.... ban athletics because someone might pull a muscle? Ban tennis because somone might fall over and break an ankle? For sure, if you don't like the sport then fairy nuff, don't watch it. but don't go on about "it should be banned"; it's up to the competitors whether they want to do it or not. |
