We are experiencing some weird electrical issues in the house;
- Reading lamps switching themselves on/off rapidly even though they are switched off? - Fan oven, keeps switching itself on (fan noise) when everything is switched off? - all lights flicker when on? - switched on washing machine, made a few weird noises, then drained itself and switched itself off, after about 2 minutes from starting? - microwave making strange sounds when in use? any ideas chaps? That's what it sounds like. Glad you got someone who knew what they were talking about
School time! PME or TN-C-S is a type of earthing system which is favoured by most supply companies as it in essence uses a combined neutral and earth supply cable into the consumers property. It is split at the consumers fuse next to the meter. In some instances, if there is a fault on this combined neutral and earth cable, it can cause a whole shed load of issues. Odds are, your electrical supply is from overhead cables and storm Dennis has probably caused the fault. |

You’d need Derek Acorah to speak to Derek Acorah now because he’s one of the ‘departed’ 😳
