Cheers Clayton. I wasn’t 100% sure about the look, but the more I see it the more I like it.

Storage of shotguns and rifles is a bit of a challenge in the 90. My storage system revolves around the dog box: drawer underneath, shelf on top, towels down the left etc. Well I made a few brackets that would allow me to strap a rifle box to the front and probably a couple of shotguns as well. Quite pleased with the result.

Good storage idea there
Only one thing pops to mind is that if you have to do an emergency stop, is the case secure enough not to go forward straight into your dash 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

Never thought of that, I’ll have to put some sort of retainer on it.

Staying the garage today to keep out of Dennis’ way. Zed kindly sent me a rear door stay, which was in perfectly reasonable condition but I gave it a good wire wheeling and a coat of paint for the bracket and clear coat for the arm. Really pleased with it.

Cheers Zed. As you know, it didn’t really need a refresh, but I took a lot of satisfaction out of it. Knowing the small details are looked after is quite rewarding.
