Woah there, all getting a bit heavy chaps 😬. As someone who has struggled to get a table this evening in Chalon en Champagne, I can say with some certainty that the French go big on St Valentines Day. Wr even saw an old couple snogging - much to the horror of my kids (and me to be fair).

So love is all around us, just don’t step out of line 💪

Well, she had a face like a clumsy beekeeper and the bloke was built like a brick outhouse, so I think they identified as opposites.

As an aside I saw a stunning white 2 door early RR on the way through from Calais. It was on British plates but a left hooker and looked as if it had just been picked up from a full rebuild/refurb. It was bumbling along at 80-85, so I assume sponsored by BP. It looked beautiful though. I instantly regretted the decision not to come to France in the P38, throwing £20 notes out of the window en route....
