Was it an easy job? I’ve been putting off doing one of mine as I’ve heard conflicting things about how simple it is to do! 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Very easy. You just need to remember to also space out the brackets that hold the grille. Andy

I have another printing now with the recess not so deep. I will hit it with the polisher and then see how it comes up. It’s a silver sparkle filament. Then just in fill with a black touch up needle pen. Andy

Great build mate Thumbs Up

Can I ask, where did you get the bracket/plate to convert the back seats to two individual seats & cubby?

All the best

Andy

So to continue the road to a factory finish exterior I needed to think about the zunsport grille. The Lazer ST4's are just too good to remove so last night took a few measurements and came up with a plan. Found a local mate that had a standard grille so collected this and then carefully started to Dremel the openings for the lights. This took me close to 3 hrs to get the grille to slide over them both nicely. Rather than drill out the filled surround I just added some black vinyl so the white didn't show and then was able to add some small black clips to secure it.

I also then made some extension brackets so that the Lazers could move out flush with the grille.

Really pleased with the results, ordered a new LR badge for it and just need to get it painted Santorini and then I can also think about adding the headlight surrounds after the wings get re fitted.

That looks fantastic. I've often scratched my head as to how you could fit lazers with an original grill. If you don't mind me asking, how did you make the extension brackets?

thanks
I just used some 3mm plate but then realised the lazer grille is slotted so I didn't need them. Just needed to loosen the bolts and push the lights as far forward as possible. Thumbs Up Andy

Dug out the spare stickers I had tucked away.

Also finished of the printed badge to see. But I think it needs to be machined from aluminium to work with the croytec parts. Have asked John if he could help.
