Canvas or similar seat covers
I am thinking about a decent set of seat covers for the Puma - the ones that came with it are not brilliant and showing signs of wear. Quite keen on something like the Exmoor Trim canvas covers but has anybody got a pic of a set that have been fitted for a while - on the Exmoor site some of the canvas ones don't actually look to be a very good fit, they look a bit baggy across the front of the seat. I'm also struggling with the seat types (which you can't see under the covers) - there are various sorts that are described including Premium and Modular. I think I've only ever seen one sort of seat in the vehicles sold here but I don't know what it is called, and some of the info on their website is suspect anyway (they refer to Puma and Td4, and the Defender seat covers are airbag compatible ... er no!).

Are there other manufacturers worth a look? I don't really want the genuine or nylon type ones, as I suffer from static shocks on anything nylon! ---

I’ve got the example canvas seat covers and they are a decent tight fit on standard puma seats. Very happy with them.

Whilst I've never seen them in person, some time ago I bookmarked some covers by German company Delta Bags as something that looks good. Darren

I have some exmoor canvas seat covers on my 90, a good fit and seem well made. I would caution however that it took 3 months for them to arrive which in my mind was totally unacceptable. I had to badger exmoor several times and their customer service leaves something to be desired IMO.

Any chance of a photo of how they look after a bit of use? Thanks. ---

I have had some Escape Gear seat covers fitted for about 6 years or so. No issues with them at all, they don't move around and still look pretty good too. The car sits in a sunny spot and they have not really faded much either.

I eventually ordered a full set of Exmoor Trim canvas covers. We'll not talk about the delivery time, but they are here now and I like them, they fit well and feel tough.

Except for the front headrests. The supplied cover is just way too short. I'll go back to them, but there only seems to be one sort of cover for the standard 2007> seats, and in the photos it fits fine (but in the photos it also looks to be bigger). They are all a tight fit, but snug when lined up properly, but the headrests - just no way the velcro will do up, you can't even get it to touch. They are the right shape for the cushion - just not long enough.

Anybody else seen this, are there different front headrests on the standard basic seats? Mine is a 2015 MY, but there's only one part listed for 07>

Any thoughts welcome please. If you put the headrest right down it isn't too obvious but I'd still rather they fitted...

I would agree that while the quality is great, their customer service is not great.

Agree. Here is their website. Know someone who has a Heritage last edition (standard Puma seats model) and ordered from them a set of canvas covers in matching Heritage colour and they are just a perfect fit and top quality. Worth contacting maybe.

Exmoor covers on my 3pumas. All fit no problem and last well. 6 years+. Headest covers on mine dont look so pointy as those, they were tight to get on from memory, really had to squash to top down to get velcro to pull around Cheers

Are Nene Overland the only UK agents for Melville & Moon?
My ‘59 plate 130 has had them on from new and the front bases are now wearing thin. Rear seat covers are fine so I would like to buy just a front seat pair. Nene’s website only seems to list full sets.

Both Escape Gear and Melville and Moon have served us well. The Escape Gear is going on 5 years on a td5 era 130 with vinyl seats underneath. The M&M are on the Heritage 110, and as others have said, they made a special edition for the Heritage trucks that use some of the Hue166 trim details.

As for distributors, for both, I ordered directly with worldwide shipping and better than local pricing.
