Good morning.... I am new to Defender ownership and the forum.
I have read about the doors and bonnets being stolen and have found these plugs, just wondered if anyone has tried them and what their experience was. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273042112841 |

Welcome
I'm sure people have tried them but I think ball bearings knocked into the bolts are more popular, just as effective and cheaper 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Hello Ralleyevo3 and welcome aboard
By coincidence I recently saw a Defender with some of these fitted... and they have (to my eye) a 'prize me out look' to them when fitted, looking at the ad their pictures show the same 'head sticking up' end result, also there looks to be a gap at the route of the torx profile, so somewhere inviting to dig something in. Your call but the ball bearing / fill and paint route gives no clue as to what's underneath, (and can be removed if needed). Click image to enlarge Worth doing as a layer of your security... Good Luck SKIP https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |

Look like the spannerer has gone a bit tight and snapped off the torque bit > 110 XS Double Cab
