United States 1998 Defender 90 300 Tdi SW Coniston Green
Part number for D90 300 Tdi fuel sender
I'm looking for the part number for a new fuel sender for a Defender 90 with the rear mounted plastic tank used in a ROW 1998 model. Its a transition year when the TD5 was starting production and there was some overlap between the Tdi and TD5 models. I think (may be wrong) that the TD5 used an in tank lift pump but the Tdi had a lift pump on the engine so the tank module only has a sender. I also need to know which gasket and locking ring to order.

Thanks for any help - trying to fix this before I run out of fuel on a lonely road somewhere... I've come close but made it to the diesel pump just in time at least twice.

Thanks very much - I had that part number written down but didn't have any way to confirm it was the right one.

I want to have one in my hands before I drop the tank. It looks like there are two different sealing rings - ESR3806?
