Seat belt repaired - Legal?
Hi all, I'm still finding niggles with my 2012 110 SW, the latest being a passenger noticed the front passenger seat belt hard in the middle of the strap, on inspection it seems to be a repair of sorts in the middle of the belt about 4cm long x 1cm wide. It looks like a heat weld or similar but feels rough to the touch. The 110 came with a brand new MOT and I'm surprised it would have passed as I thought any notable wear to a seat belt was a fail!

Question is, am I correct? if so will my AA dealer warranty cover replacement? if not is this an easy thing to source and replace myself?
Cheers.

Probably been trapped in the door close latch several times, frayed, and then some cowboy has melted it to make the damage less obvious than frayed material. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

Yep it is easy to replace yourself. You can get r a replacement from Exmor Trim or from Advanced Factors (forum sponsors).

Make sure to get the right belt for your vehicle.

Thanks all, is there a serial number or part number I can identify on the belt so I can order the correct one?
