My Defender is the same and I think that the standard cooling system will cope with towing a heavy trailer across the Sahara Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

Mine runs at pretty much 90C in all weathers. Drops to about 84/86 when stationary in colder weather.

There was somebody on here not so long ago with one of the Allisport rads that reported something similar. I think it has a lot more capacity than the regular one. Darren
