I'd heavily suggest it does. Despite power output, the thing that really breaks cars is traction, if you try and apply a huge amount of torque to all wheels while they're on a grippy road with evenly distributed forces, thats a lot more sympathetic to the car than applying the same torque to a vehicle with wheels slipping and gripping and snatching away at the terrain. Thats what kills shafts, shock loads the entire drive line. Either way im happy with my TD5 110 on 180bhp. |

Yup. Ive broken two CVs/shafts in Spain due to having extreme traction and being heavy footed. I had the traction needed to creep up the hill but stupidly decided to boot it a little. Que broken CV
