I realise these are very new tyres but wondered if anyone has a set and if so have you got any initial feedback?
To my mind they look pretty good and fit the bill as an aggressive AT tyre. Any experience or thoughts? |

Cant comment on the new 'maxx' version ... but have run original ST's on my 90 for 3 years or more. Gotta say they are without doubt the best tyre ive ever used [in over 20 years of 90 ownership] Never let me down where many others have struggled If the Maxx is even better it will be THE tyre to have Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

Hello Matey,
I run on 'Cooper STTs' and find they are very good. You probably know this already but locally to us Poole Tyres are a Cooper Dealer they may be able to give you good advice or some feedback from customers. BFG KM2 was another tyre I personally seriously considered. http://www.pooletyres.com/ I also have a 'mate in the trade' at Kinson Tyres but the best price I got locally was at Douglass Motor (even my mate couldn't get near to their price). If you do commit give them a call ask for Marcus, mention a recommendation from me and see what they come up with! If you don't ask you don't get is my principle. Worth a trip out there just to view their extensively modified yellow TD5. http://www.douglassmotors.co.uk/ If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

K9F,
Thanks for the info. will check your leads out. My own personal experience with Douglass was when trying to buy a D3 from them, despite a serious deposit the bloke wouldn't take it as he said he had someone else interested in the car and couldn't give me a P\x price on my trade in without talking to the boss. So i ended up losing out and was pretty off. Other than that they seem pretty good. Water under the bridge anyway. Will check their prices. Cheers! |

Wicked! Yes please post some pics and keep us updated. I am heading to the Gamefair on Friday and apparently Silverline have a trade stand there so will be able to see them in the flesh.
Can i ask how much ££ you paid for them? Cheers. |

Tyres have now been purchased, fitted and are undergoing "testing" even in the skinny 235/85/16 size they look great on the 110.

Just fitted a set yesterday, chuffed to bits so far, they look even meaner in the flesh. So far so good, but have only travelled 30 odd miles to date... Will let you know!
