Not sure you have the right comparison graphs - that looks like the one for the BFG ATKO and not the latest BFGATKO2.
Have to say I am not that impressed with the BFGATKO2. Mine are a couple of years old with about 30k miles. Hardly any visible wear but find them locking up easily in the wet and cold. (Sometimes dry). I have no ABS. They look good on paper for grip but I am not seeing it in reality. |

However the new ones not that much better on paper? Wet Grip concerns me as we live in a wet country 
I think for off roaders maybe or looks but actual performance.... It's not looking good (plus they are a fair bit more) |

Not sure what you mean? I'm literally about to choose these and it's a fair price so would rather have views on actual users rather than paper graphs. Sharing knowledge and experience  |

My research taught me its impossible to compare tyres. Every website/article/opinion was different and polar opposite to another.
I think you'd be more than happy with either tyre. My KO2's have never given me any concern in the wet, you are after all driving a brick which should be driven accordingly. For me KO2 wins hands down, but only on looks.  oh and snow!  James

I have the Coopers on my D1 and have run many sets of BFGs.
My experience is that the Coopers are much cheaper but are less robust. I had two flat Coopers on the same lane back in November caused by a sliced sidewall from the same rock. Any update on people having cooper AT/3's?
Looking at 275/65/18's I know a defender is a brick but I do like to have the odd blast down my favorite country lanes, and while I agree 100% the BFG's look the best in England I would rather have a Tyre that performs in the wet. 98% Tarmac so I think a road bias would suit me best? |

I’ve got the at3 4s and they’ve been superb especially in the colder wet weather I won’t have bfg again found them leathal on wet roads 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

I have a full set of Cooper AT3 on a Range Rover - absolutely faultless both on and off road. They are quiet and the road holding, ride and handling in the wet are faultless. I would definitely buy them again. As for the BFG’s my experience is they do not perform well on wet tarmac, plus they always seem to perish.
From the uses you want them for I would go with the AT3’s |

We run AT3s on a fleet of Toyota 4x4s and I personally prefer them on the road compared with an identical vehicle on BFG ATs. All tyres are now over 20k in with 50% off road use and have held up well. The AT3s are quieter and more sure footed on both wet and dry tarmac. Off road they seem fairly matched, the BFGs seem more resistant to punctures on stone/laterite roads and climb out of ruts better but there's not much in it.
Afraid I can't comment on cold weather, the vehicles are working in Zambia 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop

Same here, I run Cooper AT3s - which is a shame as the BFGs do look better. I've run BFGs twice before switching, and found BFGs just too slippy on wet tarmac for comfort so looked for a change. The Coopers are of course slightly more road-bias, but for my use they are a good balance - so depends on your priorities. |
