Similar problem happens to me some years ago.

I tried my very best to unscrew the old pulley, but had no success at all. Any ideas, what I can do to solve this problem?
(I added 50 cm tube to the spanner and the ratched but it did not move, even after adding some rust dissolver.) |

One day later I tried again. It worked and the rattling is gone.

Good evening, just a quick question if this thread is still live. I have the parts to perform the pulley replacement but just to confirm is the spanner end of the tool nearest the alternator the part of the pulley removal tool you turn clockwise?
