Another thumbs up for SGS. Everything I have had from there over the years has been spot on.

Lots of money, but oh my goodness, what a bit of kit. It happily copes with the 110 and is really lovely to use. If you work on your vehicles and can afford one, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Clicked on the first link but nco obvious prices, so what is "lots of money"?

They're currently £235 plus VAT. Have a hunt round their site for more details.

If you click 'add to cart', all is revealed. To save the suspense though, it's around £330 including postage. Darren

Trolley jack location to change NS front wheel.
Hoping someone can advise.

I've been replacing the wheels on my Defender. They're all done except for the NS front. I used a trolley jack under the diff casing for the first three, but I'm not able to get the NS front off the ground given the weight at the front end and the off-set diff location.

Is it safe to jack further along the axle, closer to the NS front wheel? I can't get the head of my trolley jack into the location shown within the owners manual. 110 DCPU

Just jack as far out towards the wheel as you can, you can usually get an axle stand in nicely where the factory jack goes. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
