P0234 fault 300 miles from home
Hi. 290 miles covered and 10 to go the 2.4 lost power on a dual carriageway just outside Plymouth! I read and cleared the code and it ran ok for the last 10 miles. My issue is I need to drive 300 miles home tomorrow, if it's a sensor and it's re set what do you think my chance's of getting home in one go? 2010 XS USW

I had this DTC (and a loud shrieky farty noise) when the hose from the turbo to the intercooler split, due to the clever "rubbing on the steering column" feature of early Pumas. It might be worth checking.

Maybe the wiring harness and the MAF sensor connection

I made it home with one issue which I am not sure is related. About 150 miles into the trip the engine died at a junction (ignition lights came on). It re started immediately and ran the rest of the way home without missing a beat.

Hopefully a gremlin in the system which wont revisit maybe...... 2010 XS USW
