1994 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Alpine White

What James said, I'm not running Zu's which are basically the alloy clone of a Mach 5 and in a 110 can out turn most 90s.

Out of curiosity when you competed previously did you have a pickup? I've always found (not driven a Land Rover variant though) when driving most pickups off-road is there's simply not enough weight over the rear axle. Although those tend to be leaf sprung (thinking Jap pickups mainly).

Actually curious on how people find pickup based Land Rovers compared to hard-tops, thinking about it I can't imagine there's much difference in weight between a pickup and hard-top Defender. Suspect the difference comes from being coil sprung. Ed

Pickup is far easier as no rear sides to hit canes on camber!

Travel and traction wise I have seen little difference between the hard top, pick ups and tray backs we run 9n same tyres, pressures and conditions. Cheers
