Phil not sure if you have seen these? Bit of a compromise but on reflection they may help

Not quite you asked but maybe a good alternative, the best towing mirror I have used.

If you want them for towing use, have you thought about the items that are fitted to Wolf Defenders. They have longer arm so they can see past the side mounted spare wheel
