Nanocom showing different speed to speedo
Hi
Been using the recently purchased nanocom from the group buy On driving home from work I noticed the Speedo was reading 30mph, satnav reading 32mph and the nanocom was showing 45mph. It's basically reading 15mph more than what it should be. Anyone else encountered this and have an idea of where I start with correcting this. The red ECU plug is clear of oil.

Cheers

Something seems a bit off, all things being equal the Speedo would always read higher than the satnav. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

AHH, good point. Didn't even think about that. May help if I checked the basics first.

Even if in kph it is still out. 50kph is 31mph so something is not quite right. Hold my beer and watch this!

No there isn't cruise fitted.

I'm new to the nanocom so I will have a look through the settings when I get chance in case Ive missed anything. I'm going to look at the wiring diagrams shortly but thought I'd ask on the forum first.

Nanocom needs to have a correction factor put in to get to mph.
Not sure which menu, but it will be in settings somewhere. Can’t remember if it’s 0.62 to get from kph to mph.

You need to change the speed correction factor on the Nanocom. It’s a bit of trial and error, as my speedo reads fast anyway due to gearing and tyre size. I ended up calibrating Nanocom to mph satnav speed - seemed to make sense! (110 TD5 2006) ********

Managed to sort it out. Started at 0.62 as was suggested and ended up at 0.68, seems to match the speedo.
Thanks for the help
