Thompson Performance LED Lite Headlights
Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience of these? Seem decent value and look more like original headlights than some on the market.

IMHO Thompson have been shown before for just taking a Ebay special and glossing it up to make it sound better and doubling the price at the same time. Rolling Eyes

You look at the product and the pictures and no where do you see the approval markers on them.

That is a SS of a video of mine and shows the Approval marks on the Trucklites that I run. Anything like them the Vison X, Nolden, J W Speaker will have these bona fide approval marks on them.

I cannot prove it but there is a whole lot of 'E' marked headlights out there and i'm sure that they are just casting a E into the lens but any approach made to show an actual approval certificate falls on deaf ears.

It's wholly up to you and don't buy from Thompson just go to ebay if you want to run the cheap and cheerful route I know quite a few who do. But I'd rather be safe and legal and have the pukka product.

Search LED headlights on here and go for a look round and the same old topics come round every know and again Thumbs Up Also can be found on Fb, Ytube, Insta & Twitter @4WDSouthwest

Thanks for the response/advice, I want something that’s E approved and will last so will look at the other brands and the Wipac ones.

I had some IP68 rated Thomas Performance LED headlights that filled with water and mud at the first sight of a puddle.
Was a right battle to get a refund from him. Even when I had returned them to him he refused because they were not spotlessly clean, lucky I paid paypal!

If you're going to do LED, do it properly. Thumbs Up

I have Nolden on mine.

Yes, very expensive but buy once and quality.
The only downside is if any damage occurs, you can just hope that it doesn't. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

I would have been fine with the water ingress if I'd only paid £70! Whistle
