A humane trap is a good course of action as you can relocate them without harm, but be careful as I have known them to do many hundreds of pounds of damage to wiring etc. over a quite short period of time .
Personally, I use a high frequency deterrent on our classics which I plug in to a mains outlet , but my usual source seems to have gone out of business . ![]() 1967 Morris Traveller 1966 Morris Convertible 2012 VW T5 Camper Quod Abundat Non Obstat. |

I had mice nesting on top of the diesel tank on my 2012 Puma. They chewed through the vent pipe where it exits the tank and as it is moulded into the tank the whole thing (tank) had to be replaced. Expensive mice!
I now use high freq deterrents and hope they work. I'll know they don't work if tank starts leaking again! |

Just set some traps on a warm spot of the engine, chuck some bait bags down. Cheers

Hi Thanks for the quick responses,we do use the plug in high frequency ones in the barn and loft and they do work as there are 4 other vehicles in the barn and dont have issues with any of them and they are used less than the one in question however there is no room for this car in there, ive never seen Barney like he was this morning with any of the cars so im guessing they've only just got in there,

I found a nest in my rear door card after I purchased mine. It had taken bits of corn, chewed up receipts and grass in there and made a little nest.

We use a small amount of chocolate in our humane traps. Works every time.

+ 1 for chocolate and a humane trap.
We had issues under a shed, they had a preference for mars bars. Never failed to work. ![]() 2010 XS USW (sold) 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

I just put a couple of the poison hairs down in the garage. Seems to keep the numbers down. I’ve tried humane traps but no joy.
