Real shame - he certainly enlightened my early years and seemed to have a knack of explaining things in a very straightforward manner.........

both points are true, and being ignorant of one is just as ignorant of not believing in climate change at all. I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

The trouble with plastic is that it hasn’t been used responsibly. This isn’t just a British issue either far from it.
I agree on this climate lobby rubbish. They have objectives different to that of which they profess. I’d say most of us on here put in more that what they ever have done in their lives. Travelling the world, whilst telling others driving their car down the road and back is evil. To summarise, if you enjoy your Defender like I do. Your freedom could be at risk. A great amount of tree planting is a good idea. I have thought for a long time that we are using more timber than replanted. And after all, we all know trees take many many many years to mature. A lot of farmers around here are doing their bit too. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Such sad news, remember him in The late 70’s & 80‘s rummaging about in bushes with manure and peat muck all over his hands, one of the first people I thought about actually when it came to protecting the environment !
I’m personally not a great fan of this Swedish child with mental Issues and anger management problems, when we start listening to children instead of scholars and achedemics then we are heading for more serious problems ! I have a 15 year old who is well educated and has his head screwed on, recently he has been telling me that paper straws need to be used as plastics take centuries to degrade, glass bottles instead of plastic ! Wooden forks instead of plastic ones..... I had to tell him that 30 years ago climate activists were called free huggers, these people tied ribbons round trees and gave them names ! Some even claimed to have relationships with said trees ! At this point everyone started making everything plastic, straws used to paper Then they went plastic, paper cups turned plastic, wooden forks went to plastic pronged coloured efforts that the chip shop give away, Bottled water didn’t exist and he actually said. What did everyone drink ! Tapolena ! And the pop man came round on Saturday in an old flat bed Foden truck from the 50’s. Nowadays the name given to something new that we want to charge a fortune For is called re imagined ! I had to stop in the end as I realised I’d been around for almost half a century, I’d seen all that flip thro 360 degrees and then almost started on the Diesel cars never existed and the government said petrol fumes were bad for you so they pushed diesel. Any way, R.I.P. DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Indeed, RIP. Lenny Henry’s take off of him was hilarious but more importantly I used to love his informative natural history programmes.

I was lucky enough to go to his lectures in Durham . I was only twelve at the time . a family friend worked there and asked if I was allowed , its very sad his views on climate change was shot down in flames I think he had a good point.
