edit : think prob going to replace the MAP and MAF sensors as another potentially beneficial measure. Suction control valve and other fuel pressure related sensors also methinks.

It sounds to me like you’re going down the right route , some of those sensors won’t throw up a fault .
If it makes you feel any better I also have problems relearning the injectors and get an error thrown up but it seems to work eventually , perhaps on the 4th-5th attempt . External air temperature is a factor and it mustn’t be too cold . Pete at BAS told me to do it in a heated garage .... if only !!! You’ve done a similar mileage to me and I had the injectors tested last year for the first time , two failed and I replaced them , it ran a lot better afterwards . I was getting a lumpy idle and poor performance . Go with your sensors first though , SCV gets fairly gummed up and is a pain to get to but the other two are extremely straightforward to replace , also don’t forget the obvious like air filters ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/ |

Oh and do go genuine or OEM on the sensors , there are some temptingly cheap alternatives but they don’t always work as I’ve found out ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Yes injectors were mentioned in some discussions I had when this all began so they are def a possibility. nothing seemed awry on autologic though but clearly that doesnt count for much. All filters oil air and fuel were just changed at service. no improvement. Damn thing was so good before but not now. I shall post here if/when I get some progress. |

Remap was done by Paul Williams at remappingsussex. He is a Viezu approved remapping dealer. The remap has been excellent. was far improved by the addition of performance intercooler too. Sadly not atm though..

Boost pipes
Split intercooler Air filter blocked or pipes to/from Turbo wastegate/actuator faulty Would be my go to thing to check first Then Re check fuel filter Remove fuel filler cap (on nearly empty tank so doesn’t spill) then try as can sometimes cause a vacuum Injector seals Faulty throttle pedal Would be second list to run through 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid) 2002 90 TD5 Hardtop (Sully) Sold 1998 300TDi D1 (Billy) Sold |

I had intermittent power loss and found the harness going to the turbo actuator damaged at the rear right hand side of the engine. The wires had been chaffing against the red lifting bracket until the insulation had worn through. I repaired the wires and this fault has never ,touch wood , happened again. I also removed the bracket and secured the harness so that it wouldnt chaff again.

simple one to check. is the fuel filter fully engaged.
for months mine was fitted up to where it gets tight but not fully engaged / locked into position. |
