I thought I’d seen that name crop up on a few forums.
I have an expression of interest but can’t place an order as it’s a 90 I’m going for and LR are being a bit vague regarding orders of them. So far I’ve been told January it will appear on the configurator, now I’ve been told March, delivery was expected to be September now it’s October Originally I was going for 110 but I’m going with my heart and taking a 90. |

I’ve also plumped for a 90, went to the factory last month for the unveiling and was pleasantly surprised by its layout, the looks don’t bother me in so much that I get the design and function of the Old one but on a long journey I don’t want something that’s about as forgiving as a medieval torture rack,
Hopefully with some Air suspension and a much more modern monocoque integrated chassis I’ll get something which is a pleasure to drive and that’s nice to look at, I was told 12 months from now for the 90, that was in November. As you are well aware, prob best to get the 110 out there for some good old LR paying customer Guinnie pig Testing so that some may at least be ironed out by the time the 90 crops up ? I love the original but couldn’t live with it as a daily driver.
At the I’m looking at D200 S Pangea Green White roof Privacy glass Steels Air suspension depending on its option price. |

Same here Reckon there’s gonna be a fair few greens with white roof and white wheels, I’ve always liked the Rioja Red with white roof, would love one in the best colour ever “Bronze Green” but I’ll settle for pretty much anything after waiting this long for a replacement, I tend to do longer journeys with a spell of not driving in between, Weymouth, London, Scotland, lakes, wales, so longer journeys as opposed to daily drives, I have used all manner of Defenders over 20+ years and covered hundreds of thousands of miles including daily commutes but the onset of age and advent of comfort makes driving round in a shed that bit more tiring, id still have another ! In fact I’m looking at a 60th SVX at the minute....... just wondering if I can live with it while I wait for the new one..... DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Tasman Blue is on the list as I always liked Tamar Blue, but as I’ve saw Pangea Green in the flesh that’s the front runner at the moment and the fact I’ve had pretty much every other colour but never a Green.
I’ve driven Defenders plenty of times, just never owned one, there is a charm about them. The closest I came was when I bought my D3, there was a nice 110 in the showroom but was swayed by the D3s comfort . I’d like to get one and chop the roof off just as a bit of summer fun. The plan is for the New Defender to be my last new LR and focus on the summer toy to sit along side it. |

That would be fantastic for the two and a half days in July we get just before the kids break up !
One of the olde Special Vehicles 90’s should tick that box nicely, or a newer SVX with the soft hood option, DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |
