Fitting Hp24 autobox
Hi all about to fit my hp24 box to my td5!
Would I be right in saying that you fit the TC to the pump first and then fit box.
Once fitted you then attach the TC to the flywheel.

Also is it reccomended to change the oil seal in the bells housing and possibly change the filter in the box itself. Although I've changed a few manual boxes this will be my first auto.
Any advice appreciated. 👍
Cheers.

Hp24? You having the electronics?

Anywho, pumpkin (torque converter) on the pump first, make sure it’s sat properly to avoid damage.

All the information you need can be found on Ashcroft’s site, as well as hints and tips, as well as parts for the filter swap etc.

I had Ashcroft build me a ‘monster box’ best thing i did as it transformed the v8.
