The Nissan Navara used to have a chassis that would break. And alloy wheel recalls.
Made in Spain... Or at least was. You’d have thought being a Jap derived marque that they would be made there. But no, not at all. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Someone used to sell profiled plates that would encase the chasis when welded... I believe it was the metallurgy of whatever they used. Spain is notorious for low quality metallurgy. Ive seen samples of "Hardened steel" that aren't even of mild steel quality and more like pot metal I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/ Current: TD5 '110 "Lucinda" Thread here: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic62562.html |

Bit like Japanese Stainless Steel that gets rust spots all over it......... Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

I was helping a friends son look for a good used Japanese pickup, Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi etc & was shocked at the chassis rust on two year old (& mostly privately owned) trucks...& don't get me started on Mercedes Sprinter/ VW Crafter rust...
Perhaps our beloved Defender's aren't that bad at all!!! Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains |
