Lovely motor,
Have a good friend who has a very prestige garage in Newcastle. If you’re willing he’ll put it on his court. Advertise in the right areas and then sell based on commission. Won't cost you penny, but needs to be a sensible price as he won’t let it sit for months. If you’re interested pm me. |

What a stunning little car, what colour is it ? I have a 997 C4S in GT Silver, whilst mine has steadily dropped over the past 10 years these have quadrupled ! let’s not mention the Insanity surrounding the 964 😳
Be wary of who you use if your looking at SOR ? Do a quick search using SOR, Porsche 911, The good thing if you decide to keep until next year is that while ever it’s sat there it’s making money ! I’m toying with the idea of cutting mine loose but I’m under no illusion that as soon as I do it’ll sky rocket in price ! Good luck with the sale though, DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

I know someone that had a terrible experience with sale or return for his 911 from one of the well known Porsche dealers. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

It’s disgusting what’s been going on, these forums are quite often the best way to move things on. As it shows here, we are all in some way or another mostly cross decking each other’s Likes and dislikes, with such a broad spectrum of enthusiasts from many interests it’s hard to not know Of some one who would be interested in a car like this. He has some old Landies amongst other stuff. What happened actually had an effect on his health. I won’t go into detail as I wasn’t involved and I don’t want to get any of the detail wrong. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Thanks Chalky, it’s quite an unusual colour, linen grey metallic, Looks to gave a slight green tinge in certain light. I have only seen one other in this colour. Yes indeed SOR can be a minefield. I sold a Morgan a few years ago using SOR and that was quite easy and no problems. Bish forwarded me an auction website ( not EBay) which seemed interesting. |

Silly question, but if you get 100% of the selling price and its free to consign? How do they make money? |

The HAGI porsche index has been consistently falling since the summer generally about 3-4% a month.
Seems the bubble has burst with Porsche for now at least, hardly surprising as it rose 65% in just 2 years! http://www.historicautogroup.com/?page_id=85 |

It’s true that there has been a softening of prices with some models of both air cooled and water cooled versions. One of the problems is prices rocketed after the 50th anniversary with lots of investors piling in. More recently owners of fairly poor quality cars have been trying to sell at inflated prices and it just won’t wash. I bought mine before the prices were getting close to six figures and it’s good that there has been a correction as silly prices are not sustainable. It took me 2 years of looking to find mine in what is an extremely original car. There will always be a good market for honest, well looked after Porsche’s, they are true drivers cars and reward immensely.
