KO2 are only ones with snowflake. i have no issues with them in the wet, dry, or anything else.

if coming from MTRs andlooking for better onroad then yes KO2s would be a significant improvement.

currently trailling some Nokians for the winter, they are nice a grippy but not the tyre for you if you want the looks. Cheers

Was that the ATR version?? How bad are they in the wet, seems strange when they are classed for 'winter' weather??

I’ve had K02’s, MTR’s and the discovery at3.

Mtrs came with wheels, noisy but excellent off road as you might expect. I have absolute confidence in the in the mud, wet and rock. Road manners were ok.

AT3’s very quiet off road, and decent mpg. Lasted pretty well. Off road not great, got stuck a few times in areas the MTRs go, and also struggled in snow.

And so the KO2. A smidge noisier that the cooper, but the same mpg. Off road they are a match for the MTR for the stuff I do. That’s loose rocky climbs and descents and not quite axle deep mud and snow and I have as much confidence in them as the Goodyear’s. they also lasted twice as long as the mtrs (no great surprise) and the AT3’s. So for me the best value of them all.

I never had an issue with any of them in wet road performance. I don’t rush around, but I don’t dawdle either and have never once had an issue of over or under steer or locking up.

It's strange these huge variations in experiences of the KO2 in the wet, would it be down to tyre pressure? James

Maybe. Mine are always at 28-30psi for on and off road on a 90 HT for reference.

My KO2 lock up the front occasionaly in the wet running 29 psi front and 45 rear, on a 110 towing loadedI for trailer 3.5t, also prone to understeering.
