![]() I don't think I can help too much at this stage as I haven't fitted my EGT yet, and like you I'm suspicious of my rev counter. On the boost, I think my turbo's pretty tired. It takes a lot of revs to give boost, and it falls off pretty quickly, but I don't think your 1.25 will be too far off. I will be watching this thread with interest though, to give myself the same comparators when I'm finished. Either you're a braver soul then me, or have more faith in your brakes! ![]() Wildrover - this could end up being the definitive 300Tdi engine parameters thread! 4200 RPM is nearly max governed engine speed
![]() With standard gearing and 31 inch tyres it should be a shade under 3000 rpm at 70 mph ![]() 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Standard transfer box? I’m with grafty, that’s smoking at 4200, I wouldn’t go there.
