. Whilst I will try to help D2 forum users out, unfortunately we do not have any Thai brides in stock. If I suggested to Mrs Leeds this addition to our stock, I think I will be in deep poo poo, up the creek without a paddle, sleeping in non existent dog kennel etc. Sorry lads you are on your own on this one. Received my glovebox earlier in the week and thought how any metallic items floating around in there may rattle about. Decided as the weather was so bad to ensconce myself away in the garage and do a little tinkering.
Found I had enough black leather remnant from my previous cubby box modification to 'line' the new glovebox with it! 'Job jobbed' just need to fit it now! http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic3632.html?highlight=leather If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Most of the orders for the glove boxes have been fulfilled.
For those who expressed an interest and not paid for the glove boxes yet, I am going to say please pay by the end of July as I have had other willing forum users expressing an interest.. Once this lot has gone I do not know what future price will be as it will be subject to exchange rate variations. Brendan |

Finished it off at last. I only bought the glovebox as a convenient place for 'connectivity' and storage of the numerous cables from my new head unit that wouldn't quite reach to the cubby. (Didn't want to extend the cables or purchase longer ones!). Lined it with leather remnant and 'to tidy things up' and secure the cables fitted a marine cable gland after drilling a large enough hole to accommodate the cables and connecters passing through. Job finished! What's next I ask myself? Click image to enlarge If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Brendan, I need to pay you now that you are back from Billing (sorry for calling as you were leaving). If it's not too late tonight let me know and I'll call - if not I'll call you in the morning. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |
