I ran Rakeway spacers (the best, in my opinion) for about 100k miles before changing from Boosts to Blindos which rendered the spacers unnecessary, with no issues whatsoever.
Used sensibly there are no problems with spacers, although some insurance companies don't like them. |

Terrafirma hub centric spacers on mine. You need to make sure that you replace the drive flange bolts with Cap heads, otherwise the wheels may bind (if you have alloys) and can prevent them seating properly giving you the dreaded death wobble!

I ran Terrafirma spacers for couple of years no issues. Much improved turning circle! James

Many thanks for the replies so far.
No horror stories so far! I hadn't considered the Terrafirma ones. Something else to add to the list. I'm currently away from home with work for some time so there is plenty of 'mulling it over' time. I like the idea of Blindo alloys (Blackwolf) but on an older ex-military 90 feel they'd look wrong. What made you go for the Rakeway ones? They are considerably more costly. Once again, thanks again for the replies so far. |

Because Rakeway has an impeccable reputation for quality, whereas many of the other suppliers don't. I didn't want any issues, and would rather pay once for quality than many times over for "cheap". |

Blackwolf - thanks for the reply. Seems a very sound reason.
Now you've all got me looking at Blindo alloys.... Maybe they would look good. One thing at a time. Cheers for your help! |

Blindos are undoubtedly the best, but I am biased!

I know they are going to have lots of effects on the handling and so on, but they still look good. And the effects on stability will be complex. I wouldn’t want to say an instant no to them.
