Hi all,
I have booked a DEFENDER2 "club" stand for the Stoneleigh show on Sunday 24th November as I'm exhibiting there with the business as well. The club stands have space for two cars, so I would propose that one 90 and one 110 or 130 would fit nicely 
Each car can have two access passes so a total of 4 people get in for free with the stand. Show opening times are 10am to 4pm so not a really early start or late finish. So, does anyone want to come along and show off their Defender on behalf of the forum? Let me know here or by PM. I can provide a link for all site members to buy advanced tickets for £5 each - current discounted price is £7.50 or £15 on the door. That sounds a great idea
Not sure if I will be going. I have never been so it would be nice to attend. I won't put my hat into the ring (or car keys into the ring) for this, but it sounds good fun. If I do go, I will definitely come and say hello |

Chris, if you want to put your Defender on the stand - it's inside - in the dry
 - then that would be no problem from my point of view 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

I won't be able to offer up my defender for the club stand as it's still not back on the road. I'll be there for sure though and hope to meet a few other d2 members.

I was looking forward to attending the show again this year but unfortunately I've gone and broken my arm so I won't be able to get there any more.

not a bad show but I think if had paid £15 I might have been peed off .
Few things I was interested in ,Syncroworks Development Slickshift anyone fitted one is it worth doing ? Also Fourby do a inlet manifold upgrade kit ,also anyone fitted this . |

I wasn't pleased with my slickshift initially! It was notchy and difficult. Now I've done about 30k miles with it I find it excellent.
This was fitted at the same time as a new gearbox so if fitting to an older box then you might not experience the same initial feeling that I did 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
